Every business has questions.

Your business runs
across systems.
Your decisions shouldn’t.

Whole-business context. Evidence-supported decisions. Explicit authority.

From questions to considered decisions

The six business domains connect to ETRAL evidence intake. Connected information still requires qualification.

Qualified evidence is usable. Uncertain evidence needs clarification. Missing evidence is not available. These states remain distinct.

  • Uncertainty stays visible. Missing evidence stays missing.
Context, Policy and Reasoning relate qualified evidence to business reality, goals, constraints, options and trade-offs.

A proposed decision is held outside current authority. The explicit authority boundary requires Owner approval for this example. No action while held.

Architectural meaning

  • This recommendation cannot authorize itself.
  • Owner approval is required for this out-of-scope example, not for every possible decision.
  • No action while held.
Within the ETRAL Decision Kernel, evidence, trust, context, policy and reasoning support a proposed decision. Outside the Kernel, authority is evaluated; approval is required where applicable before authorized action. Results must be qualified as outcomes before informing memory.

03 / Inside ETRAL

The intelligence is in the relationships.

The whole business.
Held in context.

A good answer in one system can be the wrong decision for the business.

ETRAL is a provider-neutral, whole-business governed decision operating system in development. Its approach connects evidence, priorities and constraints—so decisions can be considered in context, with authority made explicit.

Inside the technology

Evidence

Start with what is known, where it came from and what is still missing.

Trust

Qualify information before relying on it. Keep uncertainty visible.

Reasoning

Consider competing priorities, policies and trade-offs across the business.

Authority

Separate what makes sense from what is permitted. A recommendation cannot authorize itself.

Learning

Use appropriately qualified outcomes to inform future evaluation. Observation comes before inference.

Business-wide context.
Bounded responsibility.

Demand is rising. A supplier’s schedule is changing. What should the business do next?

CONCEPT / NOT LIVE

01 / Establish what can be used

Start with the evidence.

Demand and stock observations are considered together. The supplier’s new delivery date needs confirmation; the cost of expediting is unavailable.

Missing · not assumed to be zero

Read the complete conceptual sequence
  1. Evidence. Demand and stock are qualified in this illustration. Supplier timing is uncertain and expedited cost is missing.
  2. Consider. Compare waiting, asking for clarification and preparing a replenishment plan. Consider service continuity, stock exposure and procurement policy together.
  3. Recommend. Prepare a plan conditional on confirmed supplier terms. Do not place an order on incomplete evidence.
  4. Authority. The illustrative purchase is outside the grant and remains held; approval is required for this example. Evidence gaps must also be resolved; approval alone does not make the purchase ready. A separate internal notification can be modelled within a valid, bounded grant, subject to its policy checks. Neither illustration performs an action.
  5. Observe. The held purchase has no execution result. A separate hypothetical notification receipt is a result, not proof that the business issue was resolved.
  6. Learn. Only appropriately qualified observations can inform memory and future evaluation. Missing outcomes remain missing; the system does not grant itself new authority.

05 / The human purposeA film by ETRAL

Be Here.

There is a business to run.
And a life to be present for.

A mother preparing food while her children sit at the kitchen table, in warm daylight

A film about the human purpose behind ETRAL’s ambition: making room for attention, perspective and the moments that matter.

06 / The future of business decisionsETRAL LABS INC.

One business. A more considered way forward.

More perspective.
Clearer decisions.
Room to be here.

ETRAL is being built for the decisions that do not belong to one department, one system or one model.

We’re interested in the questions businesses face—and in conversations with organizations and potential partners who share the ambition for better-governed decisions.

In development. Explore the approach, discuss a business need or start a partnership conversation.
